Reunion ribbon for the Otey Battery which served as Company A, 13th Battalion Virginia Light Artillery.
Otey's Battery was formed in March 1862 by Captain George Gaston Otey who was mortally wounded at Lewisburg, WV on 23 May 1862. Lt. David Norvell Walker assumed command of the unit, a position he would hold for the remainder of the war.
