candlestick, sterling silver weighted, date unknown

A silver candlestick owned by the Hutter family. The bottom hallmark reads "Sterling Weighted". This means that the outer shell is made of sterling silver and the inside is filled with a heavy non metal substance to allow the candlestick to stand more easily and cost less to produce.
