Fork, silver dinner, early 20th century

Subject

A silver plated dinner fork from the Hutter family. There is a hallmark on the back which reads “Rogers” followed by an anchor followed by “12oz”. The “12oz” in regards to the Wm Rogers Company means it is silver plated and not sterling silver. The pattern is called “Mayflower'' and it was first manufactured in 1901. The Wm Rogers Company was started in 1865 and was one of the founders of the International Silver Company in 1898, they manufactured flatware until the 1990s.

Format

The fork measures 7 5/8" long.
The front handle has a floral pattern around the perimeter.
The back Hallmark reads "Rogers" followed by an anchor followed by "12oz".
